It's been a very busy summer on the water with an enormous amount of sailing time. Whether it was day sails on the Swan 601 Moneypenny, racing on the IRC 52 Vesper, or just out on the paddleboard the summer has delivered again and again. But with September and October storms looming I can't help but feel the draw of my kites. They have sat patiently in the basement waiting for my attention. Sure my 15m and the course board got a little bit of work in the early summer but it seems like ages since I have gone out and exhausted myself.
So with one week of sailing on Moneypenny left and then the San Francisco Big Boat Series in September I am starting to think I might actually get on my kites again. I have been speaking with everyone over at BEST Kiteboarding and been trying to plan my quivers for the 2012 North American Speed Sailing Invitational and overall just starting to prep myself for a big month of training.
So two weeks of focusing on Sailing left, and then the work begins again.
