Gorilla Rigging completely pulled through for me today. Delivered all three of my new bars with all new 1.1mm control lines. I am a total line geek and I am fully geeked out at the moment checking everything over and drooling at the subtle nuances they have put into their work. They did great work and went the extra mile to drive from Newport to New Bedford just so I could have them for testing tomorrow AM.
Yeah it is all coming together nicely for the start of the 2012 NASSI. I have ridden all my new 2013 BEST Kites and am seeing some nice improvements. My boards got laminated today at HydroFlex and should go up to Stan Pleskunas' shop tomorrow to get the fins fit. It is a few days later than I was hoping but I think the extra time we put into the design and cut will be worth it. As I said to Stan today I just can't wait to "ride the f$%# out of them!"
My gear from Atlantis shipped today which is fantastic. They should keep me very dry and very warm while on the beach. Oh and one of the best things was I came home the other day to find a big box from Dancing Turtle with a nice comfy new hoody. Super Soft. You also might see me sporting some new goggles but more on that once it is confirmed.
On the organizational side of the NASSI everything is starting to come together as well. Rich Sabo will be producing our Livestream Webcast and he will be arriving on Sunday which is very exciting.
Looking like dawn patrol tomorrow with a dying NW'ly all day. I guess I better get to bed before it is time to wake up.
